Description
Thread cutting oil (thread making) and tapping (“grooving”) fluid lubricate, dissipate heat, from the tool and workpiece, and remove chips during the cutting process. Ideally, they have good anti-weld properties to prevent the build-up of metal on the tool, and good corrosion control qualities.
